British Man Wins £107.9M EuroMillions Jackpot

It has been revealed that the winner of the EuroMillions jackpot of £107.9 million is a car mechanic from London. The win is set to make Neil Trotter, 41, among the UK's top 1000 richest people.

But Britain's big winner seems surprisingly cool about the enormous cash prize. ?I always thought I would win big and I had a good feeling all week,? he said. In fact, sources report that Neil had had been predicting his lottery win for years. While friends and family were predictably stunned, Mr. Trotter seemed to take his win in stride, as if it was destined to happen.

The news of the jackpot did not, however, come as naturally to his partner of eight years, Nicky Ottaway. Trotter said that when he checked his lucky ticket she, ?told me to shut up and stop being an idiot.? The disbelief was echoed also by the winner's father who - when first hearing of the news - told his son ?to stop drinking.?

Trotter hit the jackpot after matching five numbers as well as two star numbers in the lotto draw. Not one for bubbly, the south Londoner, a resident of Croydon, celebrated with two pints of lager. Trotter and Ottaway are now looking into sealing the deal by getting married. They have also got their eyes on new property outside the south London suburb.

Although the lottery winner certainly comes off as grounded, it has been reported that he is quitting his day job repairing and spray-painting cars. The big win is also sure to further the amateur race driver's interest in cars. Trotter has previously taken part car races, claiming a 6th position in BMW cup.

Chances are the cash will bring the car mechanic something a bit more flash than his current vehicle - a Ford Focus.
