UK Player Wins EuroMillions Superdraw
Britain's on fire! Not literally of course, but the nation's certainly on a roll having won its forth EuroMillions jackpot of the year. This jackpot, the long-awaited summer Superdraw jackpot, rolled over to become the largest jackpot of the year. (At least so far!)
The winning numbers were 5, 8, 10, 11 and 37, and the Lucky Star numbers were 7 and 9.
The lucky ticket managed to win at least one lucky player a massive £93 million jackpot. The ticket holder has since come forward to claim the prize, opting to remain anonymous.
The win marks the forth such Superdraw jackpot won by British players, whose luck has become legend throughout all EuroMillions countries.
In addition to being one of the lottery's founding countries, the UK also has the distinction of having two out of the top five biggest wins of all time.
At number four we have Colin and Chris Weir from Scotland, who won £161 million back in 2011 – the UK's biggest winners by Sterling value.
Then, right up at the top, the biggest EuroMillions jackpot winners of all time, Adrian and Gillian Bayford, who won €190 million, or £148,656,000.
As this latest winner joins the British winners circle he/she is also now placed sixth on the UK lottery's biggest winners list.
Will Britain win again? Only time will tell. Maybe it will be your turn next! So if you fancy getting your hands on some big Eurobucks make it easy on yourself by playing EuroMillions online.
